Why I suggest Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata

The Morra represents the cru area in the production of Nebbiolo in which Roberto Voerzio with his thirty-year experience as a viticultore commits himself with humility and dedication to transforming those grapes exposed to the south towards a timid sun. The Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata DOCG is enriched equally by extracting the maximum from the ground with its own strength and expressing itself in terms of quality. The Barolo that has spent in large barrels the path of aging as if almost forgotten, from which it has acquired the maximum of concentration and refinement. Today there are many palates of enthusiasts who talk about drinking at least once in their life!

The Sommelier: The ruby red color of Barolo DOCG dell'Annunziata by Roberto Voerzio presents the marked garnet reflections given by the long permanence in aging. The high concentration of glycerine is evident in the glass, the alcohol content reaches 14.50% vol. Fruit scents are mixed with floral nuances and intriguing and atypical scents. In the mouth it is robust, full-bodied; in one sip the tannin evolutions come back to mind, which tend to soften during long refinement. A final of considerable persistence.

Recommended pairings: Wine for dishes with important preparations based on grilled lamb meat, with pecorino cheese and taralli scaldatelli from Puglia. Ruotolo with mushrooms, pumpkin and baked potatoes; Handmade orecchiette with autumn vegetables (turnip tops, broccoletti, dark cabbage ...) stew with meat and potatoes, aubergine parmigiana, rolls of dried aubergines, excellent with dried fruit.

Cellar ... production of absolute excellence, through work, stubbornness, courage and concrete choices to produce Barolo and wines capable of representing it in the world ... Go to the card.
