Why I suggest Contrada Diciassettesalme Etna Rosso DOC
Nerello Mascalese, a wine to tell. Diciassettes is the district of production. In my humble opinion it can be defined as a Piacione wine, a wine that is loved because of its origin, volcanic autochthonous grapes of Etna, the result of a careful selection of Nerello Mascalese.
The Sommelier: Ruby red with ruby reflections in the glass. Smells of strawberry and raspberry, full taste with a delicate, almost velvety taste. Tannin aged in refinement and well harmonized with the components of the structure, can be easily swallowed; Excellent alcohol content 14% vol., And good persistence.
Recommended pairings: Legume dishes, vegetable soups and mixed meat; Grilled white and red meats: grilled seared tuna and red radicchio, fresh pasta with Pachino tomato sauce, aged cheeses, dried fruit.
Uncork and wait ½ h before serving at a temperature between 16 - 18 ° C, in Ballon goblet.
Cellar: a large cultivated area of about one hundred hectares. Most of them in the last twenty years play an important role, the cultivation of "extreme" vineyards ... Go to the file.
