With the nickname "Baron" given in the path of his splendid career as a footballer, even in the ranks of Milan, which saw him score 139 goals, Nils Liedholm is dedicated to the production of wine for his family consumption then for real commercial production. With the purchase of the estates within the provinces of Asti and Alessandria of Villa Boemia in 1973 and of the existing vineyards of Barbera and Grignolino and in 1977, given the good quality and requests, production is expanded with new plantings of 12 total hectares vineyards with allochthonous varieties to the traditional ones in the area: Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc for the production of new wines. The new winery for the vinification and bottling of products according to the modern technologies of the time 1975 takes shape and at the helm, the son Carlo Liedholm, born in 1958, manages the company and in collaboration with the oenologist Donato Lanati.
