The Fertile territory of the native and award-winning Montepulciano d'abruzzo, Mauro Boot leads his farm to the research project and review of the Gaglioppo, an ancient vine of regional red wine with a strong territorial character.
The Sommelier: Wine obtained by grapes Gaglioppo in purity, the color is ruby red with garnet reflections, the wine clear and consistent of good alcohol. Perfumes in evolution, you show more and more with the passing of the years. In the mouth it is immediately pleasant, fresh wine, good body and medium soft tannins, very balanced, long finish with a return to the feeling of mature fruit.
Food pairings: pasta dishes with meat sauce, red meat in braised and in the oven, game dishes and strong spices in the kitchen, appetizers, rustic, eel sauce, cherry tomatoes, hard cheese (except blue cheese), grana padano cheese, salami, bagels, seed, fennel, and pecorino cheese.
