Why I suggest Fiano Sannio DOP

The Fiano is considered a varietal interesting and prestigious grapes of Campania and Puglia, little known unfortunately in the rest of Western Europe. Vine that naturally produces low yields, and usually favors the result of concentrating aromas, and has helped producers prevent it in the middle of the 20th century. Fortunately, Fiano has experienced a well-deserved renaissance.

The Sommelier: A Fiano of great potential, the wine takes on a pale yellow color, and sensations and notes of honey are refined, which eventually come close to the dried fruit. Other associations with more common aromas sought are hazelnuts, flowers, and surprising mineral aromas. Light wine with moderate acidity. With great longevity potential.

Recommended pairings: Grilled white meat, summer salads of tomatoes and various vegetables. Parmesan, other semi hard cheeses; with fresh fruit.

Uncork and serve at a temperature of 12-14 ° C in a Renano glass.

Winery: ... The agronomic management provides, a system of espalier breeding, for varieties of Falanghina, Aglianico, Barbera del Sannio, the adoption of programs of good agricultural practice in organic farming. The experimentation of vineyard grassing projects is underway. The goal is to preserve the integrity of the soil, favoring the development of the vine positively ... Go to the sheet.
