Why I suggest Greco Sannio DOP
The origin of this vine seems to be credited to Greece, but it is considered an autochthonous Italian grape, which the tradition of its cultivation is in Campania. A white wine capable of expressing rather concentrated aromas and flavors associated with almonds and hazelnuts, and also references to minerality, a very appreciated characteristic.
The Sommelier: The wine produced with 100% Greco is usually full-bodied. The color of the wine varies from straw yellow with greenish reflections to golden yellow. Good alcohol content, 13.00% Vol; A soft, balanced and pleasantly fruity taste. The fruit is enriched with citrus aromas, tropical fruits, almonds and hazelnuts that positively characterize the identity of the Greek. Freshness on the palate, accompany the slightly salty texture. In the end, it persists for a long time.
Suggested pairings: Peppered mussels with peppers, linguine with seafood, spaghetti with carbonara, ham and melon, aubergine parmigiana, soft cheeses, fresh fruit: peaches; dried fruit.
Uncork and serve at a temperature of 10-12 ° C in a Tulipano glass.
