Why I suggest Catarratto Terre siciliane
The salient characteristics of the wines Catarratto is fresh, good acidity and fruity scents and floral.
The Sommelier: The Catarratto wine shows in the glass a straw-yellow colour with light green reflections, of great transparency. At the nose scent of fruit, delicate white peaches with a background of floral notes of orange blossom, jasmine and memories of flower-filled meadows, in the background, gently citrus. On the palate the Catarratto looks tasty, light, soft, sustained by a firm acidity. Balanced and quite persistent, with the closure mineral and hints of floral.
Combinations recommended: light Dishes, and delicate, as the seafood starters, cold meats or delicate vegetables or pasta dishes based on fish. Dishes of shellfish, fish in general, but also with delicate white meats.
Uncork half an hour before and serve at a temperature of 10°C in goblets Rhine.
