The Sommelier: The Aglianico Taurasi Cevotiempo has a beautiful color ruby red on which appear reflections of garnet. The bouquet is intense and harmonious, which is accentuated with age. On the palate this wine presents a taste hot, savoury and dry, overall very harmonious and balanced, and that with aging becomes more velvety; the content of tannins is ideal, the alcohol content 14,50%vol.
Food pairings: Thanks to its intense flavor and full-bodied, this Aglianico del Vulture is well suited for pairing with meat (white), but particularly red, cooked on the spit or in the oven. It is also preferred to combine it with braised meats, roasts, game dishes and game, the Board with the guinea fowl, potatoes and green peppers in the oven. Many formaggi seasoned tasty such as caciocavallo lucano, cacio bucato, with its slightly spicy taste, or the canestrato di Moliterno PGI is produced with sheep and goat's milk.
Recommended serving temperature is 18-20°C in large goblets.
