Why I suggest Sondraia Bolgheri Superiore DOC

Coming from the Bolgheri production area a few meters above sea level, characterized by a favorable climatic trend with optimal temperatures for the cultivation of the Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. The temperature variations at the time of ripening of the grapes determine good increases in the sugar content, favoring the aromatic development of the varietals. The harvest, carried out in ideal atmospheric conditions, allowed the grapes to complete ripening. The vintage promises to be one of the best vintages, always able to stand out for its great balance and elegance.

The Sommelier: Blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes; wine with a ruby red color of good intensity, violet reflections and an excellent alcohol content, 15.00% vol. Predominant fragrance of fresh fruit and hints of aromatic herbs. In the mouth with a pleasant juicy drink, light tannins, good persistence.

Recommended pairings: Excellent wine on grilled and roasted meats. Perfect with the classic Florentine, Parma ham and Zibello culatello platter, medium-aged cheeses, Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino Sardo, smoked buffalo scamorza.

Uncork and decant an hour before, serve at a temperature of 16-18 ° C. in a large Ballon glass.

Wine cellar: Allegrini is a winery that has always been recognized as one of the leading wineries in Valpolicella. In love with the land and the place of origin, linked by a passion for wine, the Allegrini family is fully dedicated to enhancing the enological potential of its territory. The estates in Valpolicella are owned, handed down by the family for 400 years ...
