Why I suggest Bitter 34 Fred Jerbis Original Italian
Alcohol content 25%, 3 methods of extraction cold maceration of dried plant; heated maceration, digestion, and distillation in a current of steam. Ingredients 34 botanical as in the old Italian recipe, in particular, we use: gentian, angelica, wormwood, orange and lemon.
The Sommelier: Colour shades of orange, due to the natural colors of the plants. Herbaceous notes and citrus, intense, overall it is round and well balanced. Taste herbaceous, delicate, persistent perlage; bitter balanced. The body is given by the bitter notes, due to the maceration of the plants as the root of gentian, and by the richness of the botanicals that make it complex. Final soft and round thanks to the citrus. Bitter aftertaste lingering from the botanical tumbleweeds, attenuated by the freshness of citrus fruits.
Food pairings: Excellent as an aperitif, as usual in history, but also in combination to increase the complexity of the cocktail. Pairings Ideal in cocktails, traditional Italian.
Serve at a temperature 7 - 10°C in large glasses without a stem.
The distillery: In the fascinating landscape of the Alps of Friuli, in the hills, Fred Jerbis find the perfect match. Culture, ancient art of distillation, the natural territory... go to the card.
