Why I suggest Saint-Véran Contrôlée

The particularity of the denomination Saint-Véran is first, its geographical position from north to south of the denomination Pouilly-Fuissé shared between 7 villages. The Château-Fuissé properties consist of three lands. The main land, Saint-Véran "Le Clos", covers 4 hectares located on the commune of Davayé. The skeletal structure consists of little limestone and more clay and blue marls, which give structure and power to the wine while maintaining a good acidity. In the second plot, being part of the resort "Les Cras", is marked by the limestone quality of its land with exposure to the south. This terroir gives wines more minerality, less acidity and ripe fruit. Finally in the third soil the clay and limestone is located at the back of the Mont de Pouilly in the municipality of Chasselas. We prefer vinification, to preserve the purity of the wine, the fruit, the minerality and balance between richness and freshness.

The Sommelier Colore of Chardonnay, straw-yellow with greenish hues, the wine is limpid, with an alcoholic component of 13.00% vol. Powerful to the nose a beautiful intensity of ripe fruits and white flowers. In the mouth it is racy, fleshy and rich while maintaining a nice minerality on lemon and green and yellow apples. Fresh harmony, defined with a solid structure.

Recommended pairings: An ideal wine as an aperitif or the beginning of a meal with a parsley, Bourogne snails, light and delicate cuisine like grilled fish, noble fish: sole, turbot, salmon; Lobsters, scallops.

Uncork and serve at a temperature of 12 ° C in a Renano glass.

The Vincent family, owner since 1862, produces wines of exceptional quality, improving the privileged situation of its 40-hectare estate. The vinification of Antoine Vincent, in the fifth generation, is an intelligent mix ... Go to the card
