Why I suggest Côtes du Jura Savagnier 2015
A very fine and special French Jura wine. It is part of the whites of the Jura, reserved for the extraordinary vin Jaune. Undoubtedly the Savagnin del Jura, as the Austrian Traminer is famous for its aromas and longevity. And a Savagnin Rosè non-musqué is still cultivated in Alsace, where it is also called Klevner d'Heiligenstein.
The Sommelier: Intense straw color, with soft golden hues, bright and bright. Intense pleasantly aromatic scent and hints of rose and lime blossom. Soft, balanced, fine taste with a delicately aromatic aftertaste. Excellent body, with 13.00% vol, extraordinarily persistent final. Peak of aging 5 years.
Recommended pairings: As an aperitif, and can accompany the whole meal with finesse. Better if next to lean appetizers, pasta dishes with delicate sauces, fish and white meats.
Uncork and serve at a temperature of 12-14 ° C in a Renano glass.
Winery: Chantal and Jean Berthet-Bondet, both agrarian doctors, moved to Château-Chalon in 1984, gradually acquiring land. The farm has 11 hectares of vines, with the first harvest in 1985 ... Go to the sheet
