Varietal wine in the very fine and particularly rare French Jura. It can be part of all the whites of the jura, but is usually reserved for the extraordinary vin jaune similar to Sherry. Savagnin is famous for its aromas and longevity. It is still cultivated in Alsace, where it is also called Klevner.
The Sommelier: Wine produced from grapes grown with organic farming practice. Intense straw color, with soft golden hues, bright and bright. Intense pleasantly aromatic scent and hints of rose and lime blossom. Soft, balanced, fine taste with a delicately aromatic aftertaste. Excellent alcohol content 13.50% vol. and scarce in added sulfites 0.035gr / lt Aging peak 50 years.
Recommended pairings: As an aperitif, and can accompany the whole meal with finesse. Better if next to lean appetizers, pasta dishes with delicate sauces, fish and white meats.
Uncork and serve at a temperature of 12-13 ° C in a glass of Renano.
Winery: Chantal and Jean Berthet-Bondet, both agrarian doctors, moved to Château-Chalon in 1984, gradually acquiring land. The farm has 11 hectares of vines, with the first harvest in 1985 ... Go to the sheet
